Europe’s Children is the children’s ministry arm of the Europe Region for the Assemblies of God World Missions and exists to reach the 80 million children of Europe in three ways: Love, Tell, Teach.
Love
“And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because he is my disciple, I tell you the truth, he will certainly not lose his reward.” Matthew 10:42
Europe’s Children shows Love by helping provide compassionate aid to needy children throughout Europe. After school tutoring, English classes, and providing backpacks are a few of the ways we demonstrate Love.
Tell
“Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20
Europe’s Children helps to find and fund new ways to tell the Good News to children. We are involved each summer with kid’s camps and vacation bible school programs across Europe helping kids to find Christ as Savior for the very first time.
The Puzzle is a 55 minute children’s musical/drama that tells the Gospel in a simple, child-friendly manner through 11 colorful characters who explain how Jesus can be your Friend. The Puzzle is currently translated into 16 languages and is being performed in different European countries. It has been instrumental in starting several churches throughout Europe.
Teach
“These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” Deuteronomy 6:6-7
With over 124 languages spoken in Europe, Christian Education materials are hard to find. Europe’s Children is committed to expanding, developing, and funding projects to teach children in Europe. We are also involved with worker training and teaching.
Every two years Europe’s Children hosts Energia, a Europe wide children’s worker training conference. Dynamic speakers and practical workshops provide a great time of networking and resourcing for people throughout Europe who love, tell and teach children in their country.
