Creativity in Children's Ministry: Using what God has given you (Lego Ministry)

Nathan will share a short message on the parable of the talents. Dawn will connect that message to creativity in children's ministry by sharing the testimony of how the LEGO outreach ministry started. There will also be a bit of time to brainstorm together to come up with potential creative children's ministry ideas based on the gifts and talents that God has given each one of us.
Nathan and Dawn Detweiler, along with their three children, are a part of Joshua's Army. They work with the Evangelical Church of Maribor in Slovenia and have lived there for 16 years. In addition to roles in the local church, Nathan and Dawn have a LEGO outreach ministry which travels throughout Slovenia and is used as a tool for the local church to do children's ministry outreach in their communities. LEGO Bible story videos and accompanying curriculum is also continuously being developed to help support the LEGO outreach ministry and the local churches
