This workshop invites children's ministry leaders and ministries to rediscover the urgency and privilege of evangelizing the youngest members of the community. In a world that competes for children's attention and hearts, the church is called to share Jesus' message with clarity, creativity, and purpose. We will explore why children's evangelism is one of the Kingdom's most strategic investments and how to present the gospel in a simple, fun, and direct way, respecting each child's developmental stage and connecting with their natural way of learning and living the faith. 

The workshop will offer practical tools, dynamic ideas, visual resources, and comprehensive Bible workshops to share the Good News in a relevant and transformative way. Participants will leave equipped to ignite an "explosion" of faith in their ministries, planting seeds that will impact not only children but also generations to come.

Explosión de Buenas Nuevas que Transforma Generaciones

Este taller invita a los líderes y ministerios infantiles a redescubrir la urgencia y el privilegio de evangelizar a los más pequeños. En un mundo que compite por la atención y el corazón de la niñez, la iglesia está llamada a llevar el mensaje de Jesús con claridad, creatividad y propósito.

Exploraremos por qué la evangelización infantil es una de las inversiones más estratégicas del Reino y cómo presentar el evangelio de forma sencilla, divertida y directa, respetando la etapa de desarrollo de cada niño y conectando con su manera natural de aprender y vivir la fe.

El taller ofrecerá herramientas prácticas, ideas dinámicas, recursos visuales y talleres bíblicos completos para compartir las Buenas Nuevas de manera relevante y transformadora. Los participantes saldrán equipados para encender una “explosión” de fe en sus ministerios, sembrando semillas que impactarán no solo a los niños, sino a las generaciones por venir.

Elizabeth Mayorga I was born in Bogotá, Colombia, and at the age of 14, I had a personal encounter with Jesus that completely transformed my life and marked the beginning of my journey in service to God. I am a wife, mother of five daughters and one son, and grandmother of two boys and three girls. Since 2002, I have served as a missionary in Spain with my family. I am a primary school teacher and educator, a vocation I have primarily developed within the ministry. I am part of the ministerial staff of the Assemblies of God in Spain, and together with my husband, I pastor a local congregation. I work passionately with younger generations through the Alliance for the Spiritual Education of Children (APEEN/Child Evangelism Fellowship), and I also serve in other missionary organizations that share the same purpose: to reach, train, and disciple children, adolescents, and young adults so that they may know and follow Jesus. ============================================================================================================= Biografía: Elizabeth Mayorga: Nací en Bogotá (Colombia) y a los 14 años tuve un encuentro personal con Jesús que transformó por completo mi vida y marcó el inicio de mi caminar en el servicio a Dios. Soy esposa, madre de cinco hijas y un hijo, y abuela de dos niños y tres niñas. Desde el año 2002 sirvo como misionera en España junto con mi familia. Soy maestra de Educación Primaria y pedagoga, una vocación que he desarrollado principalmente en el ámbito ministerial. Formo parte del cuerpo ministerial de las Asambleas de Dios de España y, junto con mi esposo, pastoreo una congregación local. Trabajo con pasión entre las nuevas generaciones a través de la Alianza Pro Educación Espiritual del Niño (APEEN), y sirvo también en otras organizaciones misioneras que comparten el mismo propósito: alcanzar, formar y discipular a niños, adolescentes y jóvenes para que conozcan y sigan a Jesús.

This workshop will equip Sunday School and Children’s Church leaders to design engaging, biblically founded, age-appropriate, and well-prepared curriculums for kids of all ages. Participants will learn practical strategies for structuring lessons, communicating Scripture clearly, and creating activities that help children understand and apply God’s Word. By the end, attendees will leave with tools and templates they can use to write or strengthen their own curriculums.

Este taller capacitará a líderes de la Escuela Dominical y de la Iglesia Infantil para diseñar currículos atractivos, con fundamento bíblico, apropiados para la edad y bien preparados para niños de todas las edades. Los participantes aprenderán estrategias prácticas para estructurar lecciones, comunicar las Escrituras con claridad y crear actividades que ayuden a los niños a comprender y aplicar la Palabra de Dios. Al finalizar, los asistentes contarán con herramientas y plantillas que podrán usar para escribir o mejorar sus propios currículos.

Michael Hook is a pastor and missionary in Scotland who was an experienced public-school teacher in America trained in curriculum development. He and his wife, Tina, have taught Children’s Church and in various kids’ Bible organizations in churches, schools, and on the missionary field. He specializes in creative curriculum writing, differentiated instruction, and cognitive learning strategies. =========================================================================================================== Michael Hook es pastor y misionero en Escocia y fue maestro de escuela pública en Estados Unidos y se especializó en el desarrollo curricular. Participants will gain cultural insight, learn how to build trust, and explore simple, effective ways to both start new outreach efforts and include Muslim children in existing ministries.

You’ll leave with practical tools and renewed confidence to create welcoming environments where every child can belong, grow, and encounter Christ’s love.

Ellen Cannon holds a Master’s degree in Education and brings over 35 years of ministry experience focused on children and families. She has served as a teacher, child evangelist, church planter, and missionary, and is the co-founder with her husband Mark, of Oasis Center in Madrid, Spain, where she and her team engage Muslim diaspora children and adults through community-based outreach and relational ministry. Ellen is passionate about equipping others to connect meaningfully with children from diverse cultural and faith backgrounds, helping them feel seen, valued, and loved. ============================================================================================================ Ellen Cannon tiene una maestría en Educación y cuenta con más de 35 años de experiencia ministerial centrada en niños y familias. The The Reality of Human Trafficking in Europe

 What is the reality of human trafficking in Europe? Are you interested in your church being a part of the fight against human trafficking? 

The heart of this workshop is to open your eyes to the reality of what is going on right next door to you. You will learn about the most common techniques that are used in the 21st century to capture victims, and you will be given tools to identify victims of sex trafficking in your own community. 

The workshop will explore the “invisible chains” of sexual exploitation and sex trafficking in Europe, and what inhibits women and children from escaping. You will be presented with a holistic approach towards providing healing for victims and be given measures of prevention that can be used to protect children in your programs from being exploited. 

You will be left with hope and will hear testimonies about women who have been rescued and restored from sexual slavery, whose lives have been transformed, families united, and broken hearts mended.

 La realidad de la trata en Europa 

¿Cuál es la realidad de la trata en Europa? ¿Quieres que tu iglesia forme parte de la lucha contra la trata de seres humanos? 

El propósito de este taller es abrirte los ojos a la realidad de lo que está ocurriendo a tu alrededor. Aprenderás sobre las técnicas más comunes que se utilizan en el siglo XXI para captar víctimas, y recibirás herramientas para identificar posibles víctimas de trata en tu propia comunidad. 

El taller explorará las “cadenas invisibles” de la explotación sexual y la trata de seres humanos en Europa, así como los factores que impiden que mujeres y niños puedan escapar. Se presentará un enfoque integral para traer sanidad y restauración a las sobrevivientes, y también recibirás medidas de prevención que podrás utilizar para proteger a los niños de tus programas frente a la explotación. 

Te irás con esperanza al escuchar testimonios de mujeres que han sido rescatadas y restauradas de la esclavitud sexual, con sus vidas transformadas, familias reunidas y corazones sanados.

Susana Bock is the International Relations Assistant at Fiet, an NGO founded in Spain in 2009 that focuses on creating life-changing opportunities for victims of human trafficking. Through its Rescue & Restore program, Fiet provides holistic care to women and children across five provinces in Spain. Susana has experience in direct intervention with survivors of human trafficking, and her work involves connecting international church communities to the work of Fiet. She brings a practical and compassionate perspective to conversations around sex trafficking and is passionate about equipping people to respond to and prevent exploitation. Susana was born and raise in Spain as the youngest daughter of AGWM missionaries. She has her training in nursing and enjoyed doing medical missions before settling down in Spain. Her and her husband will soon be celebrating 5 years of marriage. =========================================================================================== Susana Bock es la asistente de relaciones internacionales en Fiet, una ONG fundada en España en 2009 que se dedica a crear oportunidades de vida para las víctimas de trata de seres humanos. Resources and Dynamics to Cultivate Prayer in Childhood

This workshop is designed as an active learning space to recognize that a child's prayer life develops in their daily life. The objective is to provide tools adapted to their natural language, treating prayer not as an intellectual concept, but as a personal and direct relationship with God.

Throughout the session, participants will experience a circuit of four prayer stations:

  • Visual Prayer: Using art and symbols as a bridge to express the inner world when verbal language is limited.

  • Prayer with the Body: Incorporating movements, postures, and walks so that prayer becomes a physical and active experience.

  • Prayer with Objects: Using symbolic elements to "make the invisible visible" and helping the child represent their burdens or gratitudes.

  • Listening Prayer: Practicing guided silence to teach the child to recognize God's voice through thoughts or inner peace.

The workshop concludes with a reflection on the adult's role as a companion in this process, understanding that the discipleship of prayer is not a rigid program, but a way of life.

Este taller se plantea como un espacio de aprendizaje activo para reconocer que la vida de oración del niño se desarrolla en su día a día. El objetivo es brindar herramientas adaptadas a su lenguaje natural, tratando la oración no como un concepto intelectual, sino como una relación personal y directa con Dios. 

A lo largo de la sesión, los asistentes vivenciarán un circuito de cuatro estaciones de oración: 

  • Oración visual: El uso del arte y los símbolos como puente para expresar el mundo interior cuando el lenguaje verbal es limitado. 

  • Oración con el cuerpo: La incorporación de movimientos, posturas y caminatas para que la oración sea una vivencia física y activa. 

  • Oración con objetos: El empleo de elementos simbólicos para "hacer visible lo invisible" y ayudar al niño a representar sus cargas o agradecimientos. 

  • Oración de escucha: La práctica del silencio guiado para enseñar al niño a reconocer la voz de Dios a través de pensamientos o paz interior. 

El taller concluye con una reflexión sobre el papel del adulto como acompañante en este proceso, entendiendo que el discipulado de la oración no es un programa rígido, sino una forma de vida.

Isabel López Cobo holds a PhD in Educational Sciences and is a Senior Professor at the University of Seville, where her work focuses on educational innovation. As an Assistant Minister for the Assemblies of God of Spain, she serves in the leadership of the Children’s Ministry and the training department at El Sembrador Church (Seville). Her life is a testimony of how faith and science can work together to transform education. Her passion is to raise disciples who are passionate for God and for people, living out the Word in their daily lives. She has been married for 21 years and is the mother of four children aged 1 to 13. ========================================================================================================== Isabel López Cobo es doctora en Ciencias de la Educación y profesora titular en la Universidad de Sevilla, donde centra su labor en la innovación educativa. Como ministro auxiliar de Asambleas de Dios de España, sirve en el liderazgo del Ministerio Infantil y del área de formación en la iglesia El Sembrador (Sevilla). Su vida es un testimonio de cómo la fe y la ciencia pueden trabajar juntas para transformar la enseñanza. Su pasión es formar discípulos apasionados por Dios y por la gente que vivan la Palabra en su día a día. Está casada desde hace 21 años y es madre de cuatro hijos de entre 13 y 1 año.

 What is the reality of human trafficking in Europe? Are you interested in your church being a part of the fight against human trafficking? 

The heart of this workshop is to open your eyes to the reality of what is going on right next door to you. You will learn about the most common techniques that are used in the 21st century to capture victims, and you will be given tools to identify victims of sex trafficking in your own community. 

The workshop will explore the “invisible chains” of sexual exploitation and sex trafficking in Europe, and what inhibits women and children from escaping. You will be presented with a holistic approach towards providing healing for victims and be given measures of prevention that can be used to protect children in your programs from being exploited. 

You will be left with hope and will hear testimonies about women who have been rescued and restored from sexual slavery, whose lives have been transformed, families united, and broken hearts mended.

¿Cuál es la realidad de la trata en Europa? ¿Quieres que tu iglesia forme parte de la lucha contra la trata de seres humanos? 

El propósito de este taller es abrirte los ojos a la realidad de lo que está ocurriendo a tu alrededor. Aprenderás sobre las técnicas más comunes que se utilizan en el siglo XXI para captar víctimas, y recibirás herramientas para identificar posibles víctimas de trata en tu propia comunidad. 

El taller explorará las “cadenas invisibles” de la explotación sexual y la trata de seres humanos en Europa, así como los factores que impiden que mujeres y niños puedan escapar. Se presentará un enfoque integral para traer sanidad y restauración a las sobrevivientes, y también recibirás medidas de prevención que podrás utilizar para proteger a los niños de tus programas frente a la explotación. 

Te irás con esperanza al escuchar testimonios de mujeres que han sido rescatadas y restauradas de la esclavitud sexual, con sus vidas transformadas, familias reunidas y corazones sanados.

Susana Bock is the International Relations Assistant at Fiet, an NGO founded in Spain in 2009 that focuses on creating life-changing opportunities for victims of human trafficking. Through its Rescue & Restore program, Fiet provides holistic care to women and children across five provinces in Spain. Susana has experience in direct intervention with survivors of human trafficking, and her work involves connecting international church communities to the work of Fiet. She brings a practical and compassionate perspective to conversations around sex trafficking and is passionate about equipping people to respond to and prevent exploitation. Susana was born and raise in Spain as the youngest daughter of AGWM missionaries. She has her training in nursing and enjoyed doing medical missions before settling down in Spain. Este taller invita a los líderes y ministerios infantiles a redescubrir la urgencia y el privilegio de evangelizar a los más pequeños. En un mundo que compite por la atención y el corazón de la niñez, la iglesia está llamada a llevar el mensaje de Jesús con claridad, creatividad y propósito.

Exploraremos por qué la evangelización infantil es una de las inversiones más estratégicas del Reino y cómo presentar el evangelio de forma sencilla, divertida y directa, respetando la etapa de desarrollo de cada niño y conectando con su manera natural de aprender y vivir la fe.

El taller ofrecerá herramientas prácticas, ideas dinámicas, recursos visuales y talleres bíblicos completos para compartir las Buenas Nuevas de manera relevante y transformadora. Los participantes saldrán equipados para encender una “explosión” de fe en sus ministerios, sembrando semillas que impactarán no solo a los niños, sino a las generaciones por venir.

Elizabeth Mayorga I was born in Bogotá, Colombia, and at the age of 14, I had a personal encounter with Jesus that completely transformed my life and marked the beginning of my journey in service to God. I am a wife, mother of five daughters and one son, and grandmother of two boys and three girls. Since 2002, I have served as a missionary in Spain with my family. I am a primary school teacher and educator, a vocation I have primarily developed within the ministry. I am part of the ministerial staff of the Assemblies of God in Spain, and together with my husband, I pastor a local congregation. I work passionately with younger generations through the Alliance for the Spiritual Education of Children (APEEN/Child Evangelism Fellowship), and I also serve in other missionary organizations that share the same purpose: to reach, train, and disciple children, adolescents, and young adults so that they may know and follow Jesus. ============================================================================================================= Biografía: Elizabeth Mayorga: Nací en Bogotá (Colombia) y a los 14 años tuve un encuentro personal con Jesús que transformó por completo mi vida y marcó el inicio de mi caminar en el servicio a Dios. Nathan will share a short message on the parable of the talents. Dawn will connect that message to creativity in children's ministry by sharing the testimony of how the LEGO outreach ministry started. There will also be a bit of time to brainstorm together to come up with potential creative children's ministry ideas based on the gifts and talents that God has given each one of us. 

Nathan compartirá un breve mensaje sobre la parábola de los talentos. Dawn conectará ese mensaje con la creatividad en el ministerio infantil compartiendo el testimonio de cómo comenzó el ministerio evangelístico con LEGO. También habrá un tiempo para hacer una lluvia de ideas juntos y desarrollar posibles ideas creativas para el ministerio infantil, basadas en los dones y talentos que Dios le ha dado a cada uno de nosotros.

Nathan and Dawn Detweiler, along with their three children, are a part of Joshua's Army. They work with the Evangelical Church of Maribor in Slovenia and have lived there for 16 years. In addition to roles in the local church, Nathan and Dawn have a LEGO outreach ministry which travels throughout Slovenia and is used as a tool for the local church to do children's ministry outreach in their communities. LEGO Bible story videos and accompanying curriculum is also continuously being developed to help support the LEGO outreach ministry and the local churches. =========================================================================================== Nathan y Dawn Detweiler, junto con sus tres hijos, forman parte de Joshua's Army. Trabajan con la Iglesia Evangélica de Maribor, en Eslovenia, donde han vivido durante los últimos 16 años. Nathan comparte la responsabilidad de la predicación y también codirige el grupo de jóvenes. Learning with Purpose: Resources, Faith, and Learning in Action

The workshop “Learning with Purpose: Resources, Faith, and Learning in Action” is designed to equip teachers, monitors, and children’s ministry leaders in the use of creative, dynamic, and spiritually meaningful pedagogical tools. Its main purpose is to show that biblical teaching for children should not be limited to the transmission of content, but can become a living, participatory, and transformative experience.

Throughout the workshop, areas such as creativity, centers of interest, pedagogical play techniques, oral, artistic, body, musical, and audiovisual expression are explored, as well as active methodologies such as gamification and project-based learning. All of this is grounded in a Christian vision of education, understanding that God is the Creator and that human beings, made in His image, also possess the creative capacity to teach, communicate, and form others.

The workshop combines theory and practice through group dynamics, games, expressive activities, and application exercises. It emphasizes that play is not merely entertainment, but an integral pedagogical technique that promotes learning, socialization, emotional expression, creativity, and the spiritual formation of children.

Finally, the workshop invites participants to design an educational proposal based on a center of interest, integrating objectives, age group, physical setting, motivation, methodologies, and resources. In this way, participants do not only receive ideas but also learn how to structure biblical educational experiences that connect with children’s real lives and help them know, live, and apply the Word of God.

El taller “Aprender con propósito: recursos, fe y aprendizaje en acción” está diseñado para capacitar a maestros, monitores y responsables del ministerio infantil en el uso de herramientas pedagógicas creativas, dinámicas y espiritualmente significativas. Su propósito principal es mostrar que la enseñanza bíblica a los niños no debe limitarse a la transmisión de contenidos, sino que puede convertirse en una experiencia viva, participativa y transformadora.

A lo largo del taller se trabajan áreas como la creatividad, el centro de interés, las técnicas pedagógicas del juego, la expresión oral, plástica, corporal, musical y audiovisual, así como metodologías activas como la gamificación y la enseñanza por proyectos. Todo ello se fundamenta en una visión cristiana de la educación, entendiendo que Dios es el Creador y que el ser humano, hecho a su imagen, también posee capacidad creativa para enseñar, comunicar y formar. 

El taller combina teoría y práctica mediante dinámicas grupales, juegos, actividades expresivas y ejercicios de aplicación. Se insiste en que el juego no es un simple entretenimiento, sino una técnica pedagógica integral que favorece el aprendizaje, la socialización, la expresión emocional, la creatividad y la formación espiritual de los niños. 

Finalmente, el taller invita a los participantes a diseñar una propuesta educativa a partir de un centro de interés, integrando objetivos, edad, espacio, motivación, metodologías y recursos. De este modo, los asistentes no solo reciben ideas, sino que aprenden a estructurar experiencias educativas bíblicas que conecten con la vida real de los niños y les ayuden a conocer, vivir y aplicar la Palabra de Dios.

Valeria Serio has advanced studies in Early Childhood Education, cerfified as a Director of Leisure and Educational Activities for Children and Youth, and holds a degree in Theology. She is currently continuing her training through the Expert Programme at the Institute for Family Training (INFFA). She has more than 22 years of experience working with children, both in the secular educational field and in the church context. Throughout her career, she has completed various courses and training programmes related to early childhood education, pedagogy, child development support, and the creation of resources for working with children and young people. Her work combines pedagogical training, practical experience, and a deep Christian vocation for teaching. Over the years, she has been involved in the design and development of activities, dynamics, games, and educational resources aimed at promoting learning, creativity, participation, and the integral formation of children. In addition to her professional and ministry experience, Valeria considers the upbringing and education of her two children to be one of her greatest schools of learning. Through this experience, she has gained practical and profound insight into the value of accompanying, forming, and educating children with love, patience, and example. From this background, she teaches this workshop with the desire to offer useful, creative, and practical tools for those serving in children’s ministry, helping them teach in a more dynamic, approachable, and meaningful way. ======================================================================= Valeria Serio es Técnica Superior en Educación Infantil, Directora de Actividades de Educación en el Tiempo Libre Infantil y Juvenil, y graduada en Teología. Su labor combina la formación pedagógica, la experiencia práctica y una profunda vocación cristiana por la enseñanza. Durante todos estos años ha trabajado en el diseño y desarrollo de actividades, dinámicas, juegos y recursos educativos orientados a favorecer el aprendizaje, la creatividad, la participación y la formación integral de los niños. Resources and Dynamics to Cultivate Prayer in Childhood

This workshop is designed as an active learning space to recognize that a child's prayer life develops in their daily life. The objective is to provide tools adapted to their natural language, treating prayer not as an intellectual concept, but as a personal and direct relationship with God.

Throughout the session, participants will experience a circuit of four prayer stations:

  • Visual Prayer: Using art and symbols as a bridge to express the inner world when verbal language is limited.

  • Prayer with the Body: Incorporating movements, postures, and walks so that prayer becomes a physical and active experience.

  • Prayer with Objects: Using symbolic elements to "make the invisible visible" and helping the child represent their burdens or gratitudes.

  • Listening Prayer: Practicing guided silence to teach the child to recognize God's voice through thoughts or inner peace.

The workshop concludes with a reflection on the adult's role as a companion in this process, understanding that the discipleship of prayer is not a rigid program, but a way of life.

Este taller se plantea como un espacio de aprendizaje activo para reconocer que la vida de oración del niño se desarrolla en su día a día. El objetivo es brindar herramientas adaptadas a su lenguaje natural, tratando la oración no como un concepto intelectual, sino como una relación personal y directa con Dios. 

A lo largo de la sesión, los asistentes vivenciarán un circuito de cuatro estaciones de oración: 

  • Oración visual: El uso del arte y los símbolos como puente para expresar el mundo interior cuando el lenguaje verbal es limitado. 

  • Oración con el cuerpo: La incorporación de movimientos, posturas y caminatas para que la oración sea una vivencia física y activa. 

  • Oración con objetos: El empleo de elementos simbólicos para "hacer visible lo invisible" y ayudar al niño a representar sus cargas o agradecimientos.

Isabel López Cobo holds a PhD in Educational Sciences and is a Senior Professor at the University of Seville, where her work focuses on educational innovation. As an Assistant Minister for the Assemblies of God of Spain, she serves in the leadership of the Children’s Ministry and the training department at El Sembrador Church (Seville). Her life is a testimony of how faith and science can work together to transform education. Her passion is to raise disciples who are passionate for God and for people, living out the Word in their daily lives. She has been married for 21 years and is the mother of four children aged 1 to 13. ========================================================================================================== Isabel López Cobo es doctora en Ciencias de la Educación y profesora titular en la Universidad de Sevilla, donde centra su labor en la innovación educativa. By the end, attendees will leave with tools and templates they can use to write or strengthen their own curriculums.

From the moment we take our first breath, God designed us to connect with each other, but for too many children, that connection is broken—their stories are rewritten by abuse, neglect, abandonment, war, or disaster. Yet scripture mandates that we, the Church, step into the story of these children.  

No matter where you are in your journey to minister to children from difficult circumstances, this session is a great next step. You will learn how trauma changes the brain and why you might be struggling with challenging and even puzzling behaviors in your children’s ministry. This session will provide you with a new lens, practical connection strategies, and tools to help your children’s volunteers to think about the root of challenging behaviors and to respond in new ways to actually help them to participate in worship, prayer, and the word of God.

Resources and Dynamics to Cultivate Prayer in Childhood

This workshop is designed as an active learning space to recognize that a child's prayer life develops in their daily life. The objective is to provide tools adapted to their natural language, treating prayer not as an intellectual concept, but as a personal and direct relationship with God.

Throughout the session, participants will experience a circuit of four prayer stations:

  • Visual Prayer: Using art and symbols as a bridge to express the inner world when verbal language is limited.

  • Prayer with the Body: Incorporating movements, postures, and walks so that prayer becomes a physical and active experience.

  • Prayer with Objects: Using symbolic elements to "make the invisible visible" and helping the child represent their burdens or gratitudes.

  • Listening Prayer: Practicing guided silence to teach the child to recognize God's voice through thoughts or inner peace.

The workshop concludes with a reflection on the adult's role as a companion in this process, understanding that the discipleship of prayer is not a rigid program, but a way of life.

Este taller se plantea como un espacio de aprendizaje activo para reconocer que la vida de oración del niño se desarrolla en su día a día. El objetivo es brindar herramientas adaptadas a su lenguaje natural, tratando la oración no como un concepto intelectual, sino como una relación personal y directa con Dios. 

A lo largo de la sesión, los asistentes vivenciarán un circuito de cuatro estaciones de oración: 

  • Oración visual: El uso del arte y los símbolos como puente para expresar el mundo interior cuando el lenguaje verbal es limitado. 

  • Oración con el cuerpo: La incorporación de movimientos, posturas y caminatas para que la oración sea una vivencia física y activa. 

  • Oración con objetos: El empleo de elementos simbólicos para "hacer visible lo invisible" y ayudar al niño a representar sus cargas o agradecimientos. 

  • Oración de escucha: La práctica del silencio guiado para enseñar al niño a reconocer la voz de Dios a través de pensamientos o paz interior. 

El taller concluye con una reflexión sobre el papel del adulto como acompañante en este proceso, entendiendo que el discipulado de la oración no es un programa rígido, sino una forma de vida.

Isabel López Cobo holds a PhD in Educational Sciences and is a Senior Professor at the University of Seville, where her work focuses on educational innovation. As an Assistant Minister for the Assemblies of God of Spain, she serves in the leadership of the Children’s Ministry and the training department at El Sembrador Church (Seville). Her life is a testimony of how faith and science can work together to transform education. Her passion is to raise disciples who are passionate for God and for people, living out the Word in their daily lives. She has been married for 21 years and is the mother of four children aged 1 to 13. ========================================================================================================== Isabel López Cobo es doctora en Ciencias de la Educación y profesora titular en la Universidad de Sevilla, donde centra su labor en la innovación educativa. Como ministro auxiliar de Asambleas de Dios de España, sirve en el liderazgo del Ministerio Infantil y del área de formación en la iglesia El Sembrador (Sevilla). Creativity in Children's Ministry: Using what God has given you (Lego Ministry)

Nathan will share a short message on the parable of the talents. Dawn will connect that message to creativity in children's ministry by sharing the testimony of how the LEGO outreach ministry started. There will also be a bit of time to brainstorm together to come up with potential creative children's ministry ideas based on the gifts and talents that God has given each one of us.

Nathan compartirá un breve mensaje sobre la parábola de los talentos. Dawn conectará ese mensaje con la creatividad en el ministerio infantil compartiendo el testimonio de cómo comenzó el ministerio evangelístico con LEGO. Nathan and Dawn Detweiler, along with their three children, are a part of Joshua's Army. They work with the Evangelical Church of Maribor in Slovenia and have lived there for 16 years. In addition to roles in the local church, Nathan and Dawn have a LEGO outreach ministry which travels throughout Slovenia and is used as a tool for the local church to do children's ministry outreach in their communities. LEGO Bible story videos and accompanying curriculum is also continuously being developed to help support the LEGO outreach ministry and the local churches ================================================================================= Nathan y Dawn Detweiler, junto con sus tres hijos, forman parte de Joshua's Army. Trabajan con la Iglesia Evangélica de Maribor, en Eslovenia, donde han vivido durante los últimos 16 años. Nathan comparte la responsabilidad de la predicación y también codirige el grupo de jóvenes. Participants will gain cultural insight, learn how to build trust, and explore simple, effective ways to both start new outreach efforts and include Muslim children in existing ministries.

You’ll leave with practical tools and renewed confidence to create welcoming environments where every child can belong, grow, and encounter Christ’s love.

 A medida que el islam sigue creciendo en muchas comunidades de Europa, las iglesias tienen una oportunidad única para conectar con los niños musulmanes con comprensión y amor. Este taller ofrece una base práctica para involucrar a los niños musulmanes en tu vecindario, escuela o ministerio. 

Los participantes adquirirán conocimientos culturales, aprenderán a generar confianza y explorarán maneras sencillas y efectivas de iniciar nuevas iniciativas de evangelización e incluir a los niños musulmanes en los ministerios ya existentes.

Ellen Cannon holds a Master’s degree in Education and brings over 35 years of ministry experience focused on children and families. She has served as a teacher, child evangelist, church planter, and missionary, and is the co-founder with her husband Mark, of Oasis Center in Madrid, Spain, where she and her team engage Muslim diaspora children and adults through community-based outreach and relational ministry. This workshop invites children's ministry leaders and ministries to rediscover the urgency and privilege of evangelizing the youngest members of the community. In a world that competes for children's attention and hearts, the church is called to share Jesus' message with clarity, creativity, and purpose. We will explore why children's evangelism is one of the Kingdom's most strategic investments and how to present the gospel in a simple, fun, and direct way, respecting each child's developmental stage and connecting with their natural way of learning and living the faith. 

The workshop will offer practical tools, dynamic ideas, visual resources, and comprehensive Bible workshops to share the Good News in a relevant and transformative way. Participants will leave equipped to ignite an "explosion" of faith in their ministries, planting seeds that will impact not only children but also generations to come.

Explosión de Buenas Nuevas que Transforma Generaciones

Este taller invita a los líderes y ministerios infantiles a redescubrir la urgencia y el privilegio de evangelizar a los más pequeños. En un mundo que compite por la atención y el corazón de la niñez, la iglesia está llamada a llevar el mensaje de Jesús con claridad, creatividad y propósito.

Exploraremos por qué la evangelización infantil es una de las inversiones más estratégicas del Reino y cómo presentar el evangelio de forma sencilla, divertida y directa, respetando la etapa de desarrollo de cada niño y conectando con su manera natural de aprender y vivir la fe.

El taller ofrecerá herramientas prácticas, ideas dinámicas, recursos visuales y talleres bíblicos completos para compartir las Buenas Nuevas de manera relevante y transformadora. Los participantes saldrán equipados para encender una “explosión” de fe en sus ministerios, sembrando semillas que impactarán no solo a los niños, sino a las generaciones por venir.

Elizabeth Mayorga I was born in Bogotá, Colombia, and at the age of 14, I had a personal encounter with Jesus that completely transformed my life and marked the beginning of my journey in service to God. I am a wife, mother of five daughters and one son, and grandmother of two boys and three girls. Since 2002, I have served as a missionary in Spain with my family. I am a primary school teacher and educator, a vocation I have primarily developed within the ministry. I am part of the ministerial staff of the Assemblies of God in Spain, and together with my husband, I pastor a local congregation. I work passionately with younger generations through the Alliance for the Spiritual Education of Children (APEEN/Child Evangelism Fellowship), and I also serve in other missionary organizations that share the same purpose: to reach, train, and disciple children, adolescents, and young adults so that they may know and follow Jesus. ============================================================================================================= Biografía: Elizabeth Mayorga: Nací en Bogotá (Colombia) y a los 14 años tuve un encuentro personal con Jesús que transformó por completo mi vida y marcó el inicio de mi caminar en el servicio a Dios. Soy esposa, madre de cinco hijas y un hijo, y abuela de dos niños y tres niñas. Desde el año 2002 sirvo como misionera en España junto con mi familia. Soy maestra de Educación Primaria y pedagoga, una vocación que he desarrollado principalmente en el ámbito ministerial. Formo parte del cuerpo ministerial de las Asambleas de Dios de España y, junto con mi esposo, pastoreo una congregación local. Trabajo con pasión entre las nuevas generaciones a través de la Alianza Pro Educación Espiritual del Niño (APEEN), y sirvo también en otras organizaciones misioneras que comparten el mismo propósito: alcanzar, formar y discipular a niños, adolescentes y jóvenes para que conozcan y sigan a Jesús.

As Islam continues to grow in many communities around Europe, churches have a unique opportunity to reach Muslim children with understanding and love. This workshop provides a practical foundation for engaging Muslim kids in your neighborhood, school, or ministry.

Participants will gain cultural insight, learn how to build trust, and explore simple, effective ways to both start new outreach efforts and include Muslim children in existing ministries.

You’ll leave with practical tools and renewed confidence to create welcoming environments where every child can belong, grow, and encounter Christ’s love.

 A medida que el islam sigue creciendo en muchas comunidades de Europa, las iglesias tienen una oportunidad única para conectar con los niños musulmanes con comprensión y amor. Este taller ofrece una base práctica para involucrar a los niños musulmanes en tu vecindario, escuela o ministerio. 

Los participantes adquirirán conocimientos culturales, aprenderán a generar confianza y explorarán maneras sencillas y efectivas de iniciar nuevas iniciativas de evangelización e incluir a los niños musulmanes en los ministerios ya existentes. 

Saldrás con herramientas prácticas y una renovada confianza para crear entornos acogedores donde cada niño pueda sentirse parte de la comunidad, crecer y experimentar el amor de Cristo.

Ellen Cannon holds a Master’s degree in Education and brings over 35 years of ministry experience focused on children and families. She has served as a teacher, child evangelist, church planter, and missionary, and is the co-founder with her husband Mark, of Oasis Center in Madrid, Spain, where she and her team engage Muslim diaspora children and adults through community-based outreach and relational ministry. Ellen is passionate about equipping others to connect meaningfully with children from diverse cultural and faith backgrounds, helping them feel seen, valued, and loved. ============================================================================================================ Ellen Cannon tiene una maestría en Educación y cuenta con más de 35 años de experiencia ministerial centrada en niños y familias. Ha trabajado como maestra, evangelista infantil, fundadora de iglesias, misionera, y es cofundadora, junto con su esposo Mark, del Centro Oasis en Madrid, España, donde ella y su equipo trabajan con niños y adultos de la diáspora musulmana a través de programas comunitarios y un ministerio basado en las relaciones. Learning with Purpose: Resources, Faith, and Learning in Action

The workshop “Learning with Purpose: Resources, Faith, and Learning in Action” is designed to equip teachers, monitors, and children’s ministry leaders in the use of creative, dynamic, and spiritually meaningful pedagogical tools. Its main purpose is to show that biblical teaching for children should not be limited to the transmission of content, but can become a living, participatory, and transformative experience.

Throughout the workshop, areas such as creativity, centers of interest, pedagogical play techniques, oral, artistic, body, musical, and audiovisual expression are explored, as well as active methodologies such as gamification and project-based learning. All of this is grounded in a Christian vision of education, understanding that God is the Creator and that human beings, made in His image, also possess the creative capacity to teach, communicate, and form others.

The workshop combines theory and practice through group dynamics, games, expressive activities, and application exercises. It emphasizes that play is not merely entertainment, but an integral pedagogical technique that promotes learning, socialization, emotional expression, creativity, and the spiritual formation of children.

Finally, the workshop invites participants to design an educational proposal based on a center of interest, integrating objectives, age group, physical setting, motivation, methodologies, and resources. In this way, participants do not only receive ideas but also learn how to structure biblical educational experiences that connect with children’s real lives and help them know, live, and apply the Word of God.

El taller “Aprender con propósito: recursos, fe y aprendizaje en acción” está diseñado para capacitar a maestros, monitores y responsables del ministerio infantil en el uso de herramientas pedagógicas creativas, dinámicas y espiritualmente significativas. Su propósito principal es mostrar que la enseñanza bíblica a los niños no debe limitarse a la transmisión de contenidos, sino que puede convertirse en una experiencia viva, participativa y transformadora.

A lo largo del taller se trabajan áreas como la creatividad, el centro de interés, las técnicas pedagógicas del juego, la expresión oral, plástica, corporal, musical y audiovisual, así como metodologías activas como la gamificación y la enseñanza por proyectos. Todo ello se fundamenta en una visión cristiana de la educación, entendiendo que Dios es el Creador y que el ser humano, hecho a su imagen, también posee capacidad creativa para enseñar, comunicar y formar. 

El taller combina teoría y práctica mediante dinámicas grupales, juegos, actividades expresivas y ejercicios de aplicación. Se insiste en que el juego no es un simple entretenimiento, sino una técnica pedagógica integral que favorece el aprendizaje, la socialización, la expresión emocional, la creatividad y la formación espiritual de los niños. 

Finalmente, el taller invita a los participantes a diseñar una propuesta educativa a partir de un centro de interés, integrando objetivos, edad, espacio, motivación, metodologías y recursos. De este modo, los asistentes no solo reciben ideas, sino que aprenden a estructurar experiencias educativas bíblicas que conecten con la vida real de los niños y les ayuden a conocer, vivir y aplicar la Palabra de Dios.

Valeria Serio has advanced studies in Early Childhood Education, cerfified as a Director of Leisure and Educational Activities for Children and Youth, and holds a degree in Theology. She is currently continuing her training through the Expert Programme at the Institute for Family Training (INFFA). She has more than 22 years of experience working with children, both in the secular educational field and in the church context. Throughout her career, she has completed various courses and training programmes related to early childhood education, pedagogy, child development support, and the creation of resources for working with children and young people. Her work combines pedagogical training, practical experience, and a deep Christian vocation for teaching. Over the years, she has been involved in the design and development of activities, dynamics, games, and educational resources aimed at promoting learning, creativity, participation, and the integral formation of children. In addition to her professional and ministry experience, Valeria considers the upbringing and education of her two children to be one of her greatest schools of learning. Through this experience, she has gained practical and profound insight into the value of accompanying, forming, and educating children with love, patience, and example. From this background, she teaches this workshop with the desire to offer useful, creative, and practical tools for those serving in children’s ministry, helping them teach in a more dynamic, approachable, and meaningful way. ========================================================================================= Valeria Serio es Técnica Superior en Educación Infantil, Directora de Actividades de Educación en el Tiempo Libre Infantil y Juvenil, y graduada en Teología. Actualmente continúa ampliando su formación a través del Programa Experto del Instituto de Formación a la Familia (INFFA). Cuenta con más de 22 años de experiencia trabajando con niños, tanto en el ámbito educativo secular como en el contexto eclesial. A lo largo de su trayectoria ha realizado diversos cursos y formaciones relacionados con la educación infantil, la pedagogía, el acompañamiento de la infancia y el desarrollo de recursos para el trabajo con niños y jóvenes. Su labor combina la formación pedagógica, la experiencia práctica y una profunda vocación cristiana por la enseñanza. Durante todos estos años ha trabajado en el diseño y desarrollo de actividades, dinámicas, juegos y recursos educativos orientados a favorecer el aprendizaje, la creatividad, la participación y la formación integral de los niños. Además de su experiencia profesional y ministerial, Valeria considera la crianza y educación de sus dos hijos como una de sus mayores escuelas de aprendizaje, desde la cual ha podido profundizar de manera práctica en el valor de acompañar, formar y educar desde el amor, la paciencia y el ejemplo. Desde esta trayectoria, imparte este taller con el deseo de ofrecer herramientas útiles, creativas y aplicables para quienes sirven en el ministerio infantil, ayudándoles a enseñar de una manera más dinámica, cercana y significativa.

Ministering to Children from Trauma

From the moment we take our first breath, God designed us to connect with each other, but for too many children, that connection is broken—their stories are rewritten by abuse, neglect, abandonment, war, or disaster. Yet scripture mandates that we, the Church, step into the story of these children.  

No matter where you are in your journey to minister to children from difficult circumstances, this session is a great next step. You will learn how trauma changes the brain and why you might be struggling with challenging and even puzzling behaviors in your children’s ministry. This session will provide you with a new lens, practical connection strategies, and tools to help your children’s volunteers to think about the root of challenging behaviors and to respond in new ways to actually help them to participate in worship, prayer, and the word of God.

Ministrando a niños que han sufrido traumas 

Desde el momento en que nacemos, Dios nos diseñó para conectarnos unos con otros, pero para muchos niños, esa conexión se rompe: sus historias se ven marcadas por el abuso, la negligencia, el abandono, la guerra o los desastres. Sin embargo, las Escrituras nos mandan, como Iglesia, involucrarnos en la historia de estos niños. 

Sin importar en qué etapa te encuentres en tu camino para ministrar a niños que han vivido circunstancias difíciles, esta sesión es un excelente paso adelante. Aprenderás cómo el trauma afecta el cerebro y por qué podrías estar lidiando con comportamientos desafiantes e incluso desconcertantes en tu ministerio infantil. Esta sesión te brindará una nueva perspectiva, estrategias prácticas de conexión y herramientas para ayudar a tus voluntarios a reflexionar sobre la raíz de los comportamientos desafiantes y a responder de maneras novedosas para ayudarlos a participar en la adoración, la oración y la Palabra de Dios.

Misty Elliott has over twenty-five years of experience in church leadership and children's ministry. She is a certified TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Intervention) practitioner and she and her husband, Bryan, started and oversee Starfish KIDS Camps in the United Kingdom, a local church-led summer camp program model specifically designed for children in foster and residential care. She serves as the International Ministry Leader for For The Children, a U.S. based charity that equips churches with programs and training to “create life-changing moments for children from relational trauma.” She has four adult children, three grandchildren, and lives with her husband in Wales. ======================================================================================================== Misty Elliott cuenta con más de veinticinco años de experiencia en liderazgo eclesiástico y ministerio infantil. Es terapeuta certificada en Intervención Relacional Basada en la Confianza (TBRI, por sus siglas en inglés) y, junto con su esposo, Bryan, fundó y dirige Starfish KIDS Camps en el Reino Unido, un programa de campamento de verano dirigido por iglesias locales, diseñado específicamente para niños en hogares de acogida y residencias. The Reality of Human Trafficking in Europe

 What is the reality of human trafficking in Europe? Are you interested in your church being a part of the fight against human trafficking? 

The heart of this workshop is to open your eyes to the reality of what is going on right next door to you. You will learn about the most common techniques that are used in the 21st century to capture victims, and you will be given tools to identify victims of sex trafficking in your own community. 

The workshop will explore the “invisible chains” of sexual exploitation and sex trafficking in Europe, and what inhibits women and children from escaping. You will be presented with a holistic approach towards providing healing for victims and be given measures of prevention that can be used to protect children in your programs from being exploited. 

You will be left with hope and will hear testimonies about women who have been rescued and restored from sexual slavery, whose lives have been transformed, families united, and broken hearts mended.

 La realidad de la trata en Europa 

¿Cuál es la realidad de la trata en Europa? ¿Quieres que tu iglesia forme parte de la lucha contra la trata de seres humanos? 

El propósito de este taller es abrirte los ojos a la realidad de lo que está ocurriendo a tu alrededor. Aprenderás sobre las técnicas más comunes que se utilizan en el siglo XXI para captar víctimas, y recibirás herramientas para identificar posibles víctimas de trata en tu propia comunidad. 

El taller explorará las “cadenas invisibles” de la explotación sexual y la trata de seres humanos en Europa, así como los factores que impiden que mujeres y niños puedan escapar. Se presentará un enfoque integral para traer sanidad y restauración a las sobrevivientes, y también recibirás medidas de prevención que podrás utilizar para proteger a los niños de tus programas frente a la explotación. 

Te irás con esperanza al escuchar testimonios de mujeres que han sido rescatadas y restauradas de la esclavitud sexual, con sus vidas transformadas, familias reunidas y corazones sanados.

Susana Bock is the International Relations Assistant at Fiet, an NGO founded in Spain in 2009 that focuses on creating life-changing opportunities for victims of human trafficking. Through its Rescue & Restore program, Fiet provides holistic care to women and children across five provinces in Spain. Susana has experience in direct intervention with survivors of human trafficking, and her work involves connecting international church communities to the work of Fiet. She brings a practical and compassionate perspective to conversations around sex trafficking and is passionate about equipping people to respond to and prevent exploitation. Susana was born and raise in Spain as the youngest daughter of AGWM missionaries. She has her training in nursing and enjoyed doing medical missions before settling down in Spain. Her and her husband will soon be celebrating 5 years of marriage. ===================================================================================================== Susana Bock es la asistente de relaciones internacionales en Fiet, una ONG fundada en España en 2009 que se dedica a crear oportunidades de vida para las víctimas de trata de seres humanos. A través de su programa Rescatar y Restaurar, Fiet ofrece atención integral a mujeres y niños en cinco provincias de España. Susana tiene experiencia en intervención directa con supervivientes de trata, y su trabajo consiste en conectar comunidades cristianas con la obra de Fiet. Aporta una perspectiva práctica y compasiva a las conversaciones sobre la explotación sexual y siente pasión por equipar a las personas para responder y prevenir la explotación. Susana nació y creció en España como la hija menor de misioneros de las Asambleas de Dios. Tiene formación en enfermería y disfrutaba hacer misiones médicas antes de establecerse en España. Ella y su marido pronto celebrarán 5 años de matrimonio.
